Dr. Adrianus Moonen

Adrianus Moonen was born on October 23rd, 1975 in Udenhout, the Netherlands. In 1994 he graduated from the Athenaeum at the Maurick College in Vught and commenced medical school at the University of Maastricht the same year. During his orthopaedic training he worked on several studies investigating the role of autologous blood retransfusion of filtered shed blood in orthopaedic practice. These studies resulted in a PhD thesis which will be finished in the end of the year 2008. Furthermore, he is working as a voluntary doctor in a medical team attending several sports events, like the Olympic Games in Peking, China.
