Dr. Robert Slappendel

Robert Slappendel was born in 1960 in Gouda, Holland. He became an anaesthesiologist in 1990 and started as a staff member in the Academical Hospital Nijmegen for the next five years. From 1995 he became Chief of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Pain treatment in the Sint Maartenskliniek.
At this moment he is working as a director of Perioperative Medicine Consultancy, an international company specialized in quality of health care and certification in the perioperative period.
